Eeeek! It's Valentine Week!

Hi friends!
So I am not even close to ready for Valentine's Day, how 'bout you?
We were busy playing catch-up on Saturday, and today we were out of town for a family gathering, so on the way home I was trolling blogs and scouring Pinterest for inspiration.

Here is one cute craft I think I'll do this week with the kiddos- most of them have no idea how to make a heart out of paper, so this will give them lots of practice!
Aren't they cute?

Then there is this ambitious project-
I know the kids would go crazy for it, so I hope I can make it happen.
That's what I call F.U.N.!
Teaching 6 year-olds is almost as good as being 6 again myself!

This one is a DEFINITE on my To Do list.
It is easy, has just a few simple materials/ingredients,
and can tie in with our study of the 3 States of Matter:

Here are my plans for the week:

and here are some of the units and resources I will use:

Then there are all of the Valentine books we will read this week:

Have a terrific week, and
Happy Valentine's Day!!!
